Dear Parents,

It is with great pleasure that I am writing to announce the results of the recent elections for a parent representative to join the Infant Junior School and Camp Education Committee of Managers.

There were four nominees for the vacant position on the Committee: Mrs Becky Lilley, Mr Malcolm Jamieson, Mr Tom Chater and Mr Colin Summers.  An election followed with all votes cast by Friday 11th October.  Ballot papers were counted and checked.  All at IJS&CE would like to extend our sincere thanks to all candidates for their interest and support for our school.

With 45% of the vote, Mr Tom Chater was elected to fill the vacant position on the Committee, his appointment has been confirmed by Government House.  We would like to extend our congratulations to Tom and we look forward to working together for the benefit of the whole school community.

Yours faithfully,

Karen Steen

World Book Day has been a huge success today with children dressing up as characters from their favourite books and raising money for our link-school in Kenya. Organised brilliantly by Mr and Mrs Cooper, Mrs Stenning and the rest of the staff, everyone has had a wonderful time. Mr Cooper will be arranging a proper photo gallery for the website, but until then..................
